Summary

The Exitex Blue 60 Fire Rated Packer is a 1mm thick, green-coded intumescent packer designed for use with Exitex Blue 60 Fire Rated Frame Foam during timber doorset installation. Colour-coded green for quick thickness identification on site, each packer is inserted around door frame fixings to provide the foam with a uniform surface during expansion. Supplied in a pack of 100, they are suitable for both new installations and retro-fit rectification work.

• Fire tested to 30 and 60 minutes in accordance with BS-EN 1634-1 and BS 476-22
• Tested in full-size single and double doorsets - not linear gaps only
• No additional mastics or sealants required when used with Blue 60 foam
• Acoustically tested to full doorset up to 43 dB
• Tested in both metal and timber stud partitions
• Tested with softwood, MDF and hardwood frame sections
• Tested with gaps between 7mm and 30mm
