Manthorpe Weep Vent Terracotta 100 x 65 x 9mm

Summary

The Manthorpe G950TR is a cavity wall weep vent designed to drain lintels and cavity trays while ventilating cavity walls in brickwork construction. It slots easily into the perpendicular joint between two bricks and is mortared into position, providing ventilation and a drainage point for the cavity behind. Finished in terracotta to blend unobtrusively with standard brickwork, it is suitable for new-build and refurbishment projects.

• Baffled grille prevents wind and rain from entering the cavity.
• Incorporates an insect grille and drip lip - sized to exclude large insects yet wide enough to resist blocking by debris, paint, or water droplets.
• Provides 220mm2 of free ventilation airflow.
• Replaces a single mortar joint - no additional cutting or special tools required.
• When used with Manthorpe catchment trays, the weep vent should be placed in the furthest corner away from the finished roof line.
• Should be spaced at no greater than 900mm centres to meet NHBC guidelines, with at least two per opening above all windows and doors.
• Made from polypropylene, effective at promoting airflow while helping to reduce the ingress of driving rain.
