Summary

The Simpson Strong-Tie H15B15 is a heavy-duty pre-galvanised mild steel restraint strap, 1500mm long, 30mm wide and 5mm thick, pre-bent at 150mm. Designed for structural lateral restraint, it connects timber floor and roof systems - including trusses, rafters and joists - to masonry walls in both domestic and commercial construction. CE marked and compliant with Building Regulations and BS5268.

Features

• Pre-bent at 150mm (B1 dimension) for immediate installation without on-site bending
• Suitable for both vertical and horizontal restraint applications
• For horizontal use, maximum strap spacing is 2m and each strap must be fixed to at least 3 timber members
• Vertical restraint strapping must be at least 1m in length
• Lowest fixing point should be within 150mm of the bottom of the strap
• CE marked - suitable for domestic and commercial projects
• Compliant with Building Regulations and BS5268 Part 3
